Fedor Emelianenko In Talks For Andre Arlovski Rematch

It is being reported that Fedor Emelianenko (40-7) could square off with Andre Arlovski (34-24) for a second time, but this time in the boxing ring.

These legends first met back way back in 2009 under the banner of the short-lived promotion ‘Affliction’.

After achieving the first round knockout over Arlovski, Emelianenko fought with M-1 Global, Strikeforce, and Rizin, before finding his way to Bellator where he finished his MMA career in 2023. Meanwhile, Arlovski would eventually find his way back to the UFC, where he had previously held the heavyweight title, and just recently had his final bout this past June.

Now, both fighters have closed the book on their MMA careers, but it appears their desire to compete is still burning, as it is being reported that they are discussing the terms of an upcoming boxing match.

While Fedor never competed in the UFC, he remains one of the most influential heavyweights that the sport has ever seen. His legendary championship run with Pride FC between 2002 and 2006 is to this day considered one of the most dominant eras that has ever been on display in MMA.
