Ferguson Calls Out Conor, McGregor Welcomes It
With Tony Ferguson passing up an opportunity to fight Max Holloway for the interim lightweight title at UFC 236, the number one ranked lightweight has turned his eyes towards Conor McGregor.
Ferguson took to Twitter this week, claiming he’d love the opportunity to connect a right hand on the chin of the man he called a “Replica Of A Former Self.”

It would not take McGregor long to reply back to Ferguson, taking the high-road and telling Ferguson (who is represented by the same firm) he wishes him nothing but the best.
If we have the ability to go back, Tony. Then we have the ability to go forward again!
I wish you well and am praying for you as a fellow colleague.
Respect to my Paradigm familia.
Yours sincerely, Burger King. https://t.co/71YwROhTbo— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) February 26, 2019
Ferguson and McGregor have yet to fight against one another inside the Octagon, but Ferguson has made the call out to “McNuggets” since 2017, when he gained the interim lightweight title against Kevin Lee.
