Ferguson & McGregor Trade Shots
Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov are fighting for the interim lightweight belt at UFC 209. The winner will likely face off against two-division champ Conor McGregor at a later date, but ‘El Cucuy’ is already jabbing at the Irishman on social media.
McGregor recently tweeted a photo of his last fight against Eddie Alvarez, referencing his old line about being a ghost in the cage. “He will think I’m there, then I am not there,” Conor said in the past. “He will think I am not there, then I am there.”

Ferguson has responded with a jab of his own, saying he expects McGregor to fade like a ghost, because money has made him “soft”:

McGregor has been talking about fighting outside the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, saying he believes “100%” that his next fight will be in boxing. The Irishman has been angling about going into a big money super-fight against Floyd Mayweather instead.
Conor has also recently called both Khabib and Tony as “two bums” fighting for the interim belt, as they are “both chinny, both wild, too sloppy.”
