Following Saturday’s post-fight riot, three men would be lead away in handcuffs but not arrested for jumping into the Octagon to attack Conor McGregor, after Khabib Nurmagomedov would jump off the Octagon to attack Dillon Danis.

One of the three, UFC featherweight Zubaira Tukhugov took to Instagram following the melee at the T-Mobile Arena and copped to “slapping” McGregor.

“I slapped him as promised,” said Tukhugov. “I promised to make him answer for his words and I did.”

Tukhugov would deny that McGregor punched him at all, let alone landed the first blow as seen in fan shot video of the incident. “Tell everyone who thinks I was hit, where?” Where, nothing,” the fighter claimed. “Just this cop pushed me away, on the video, as if I was hit, in short. Not missed, was not even close.”

The Chechen fighter has not competed inside the Octagon since a split decision loss at UFC 198, and was set to fight at Fight Night 102, but would end up with a two year suspension for USADA after testing positive for Ostarine.

Tukhugov was also set to fight Artem Lobov later this month, but following his involvement in the fight, it seems Tukhugov’s tenure in the UFC is over.
