Figueroa Dominates, KOs Chacon
In front of a hometown crowd, Brandon Figueroa retained the interim WBA super bantamweight championship with a fourth-round knockout of Javier Chacon.
The bout headlined a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) card at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas.
After some sizing up in the early part of the opening round, Figueroa hurt Chacon with a couple of body shots. Figueroa didn’t let up from that moment, dominating Chacon and pressuring him throughout the second and third rounds.
