Fitch-Daley Announced for Bellator 199

The newest member of the Bellator MMA roster, former UFC Welterweight Title challenger and WSOF welterweight champion Jon Fitch, will make his promotional debut at Bellator 199.

As reported by MMA Fighting, and announced during the Bellator 195 broadcast, Fitch will face Paul Daley at the event, which takes place on May 12 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Fitch will come into this bout riding a four-fight win streak, which included winning the WSOF (now Professional Fighters League [PFL]) Welterweight Title and making two defenses of the title. He vacated the title upon signing with Bellator on March 1.

Daley last competed in Bellator back in September at Bellator 183, defeating Lorenz Larkin. After a five-fight win streak, Daley has gone 2-2 in his last four bouts. Daley has also recently been very critical of Bellator, going as far as to state he will be leaving the promotion when his contract expires.
