Florida Arrest Warrant Issued for Broner
Just days after coming up short against Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas, former four-division world champion Adrien Broner is wanted once again.
An arrest warrant for Broner was issued by a Florida judge after Broner failed to show up to Broward County court yet again. This is the third time Broner has been arrested for failing to appear in court — including the boxer being arrested just last month over the same matter.
These arrests for failing to appear in court stem from a December 2017 arrest where Broner was charged with speeding, having no driver’s license and not having any registration or proof of insurance.
Broner was last seen in Los Angeles, appearing at the Los Angeles Lakers NBA game on Jan. 24.
Broner was also arrested back in February for allegedly groping a woman against her will in an Atlanta shopping mall, and he was arrested in June, accused of throwing himself on top of a woman in a nightclub and forcing her to kiss him.
He faces a charge of sexual assault in the former case, and multiple felonies (including gross sexual imposition and abduction) in the other.
