Floyd Mayweather will be going one-on-one with Logan Paul on June 6.
Mayweather vs. Paul was initially set to take place back in February. That plan changed as Mayweather’s team reportedly wanted to wait until live crowds made their return. With Florida seemingly in full swing in terms of live events, Mayweather vs. Paul is back on.
“Money” took to his Instagram account to reveal he’ll be facing Paul inside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

“JUNE 6, 2021!!!! #MIAMI Me and Logan Paul will be fighting at the Hard Rock Stadium. Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio, and Showtime Boxing have come together to bring an epic Event!!! Tickets will be going on sale next week….”
There are still some contract hurdles to clear before Mayweather and Paul actually share the ring. Discussions include how to maximize profit for such an event.
The boxing world has seen a recent surge in high-profile exhibition and “freakshow” fights. These types of attractions aren’t new to the sport, however. Who could ever forget the infamous 1976 battle between all-time boxing great Muhammad Ali and Japanese pro wrestling legend Antonio Inoki? There’s also the time boxer Chuck Wepner went one-on-one with pro wrestling icon Andre The Giant.
