Floyd Mayweather Makes A Bold Claim On Gervonta Davis Vs. Ryan Garcia Fight
Floyd Mayweather has suggested that he can make a fight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia happen within 90 days, but it would take sacrifices from Garcia.
The former boxer wants Garcia to understand that he is not the one calling the shots here, and nor is he a boxing promoter. He must agree to fight at 135, or not fight at all.
“We can fight in 90 days if you want. Whatever you want to do,” said Mayweather to Fighthype.
“He’s [Garcia] going to get smoked by Tank. I’m going to have Tank in the best shape of his life. Just know, when he hit that boy, he ain’t going to wake up until next year,” said Mayweather.
Andy Ruiz Jr. also spoke to Fighthype, and he felt that Garcia is not someone who should be underestimated.
“I think confidence beats whatever people say. If he feels like he’s ready, he wants it, and knows he can beat him, then what do you know? It could happen, so you can’t underestimate those fighters.”
