Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul Targeted For June 5

Triller’s June 5 event headlined by Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos could have some competition.

The Athletic is reporting that an exhibition bout between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul has a tentative date of June 5. The event was initially planned for pay-per-view through Fanmio. Instead, it’ll be featured on Showtime PPV.

If the June 5 date sticks, then it would go head-to-head with Lopez vs. Kambosos and Evander Holyfield vs. Kevin McBride. Mayweather hasn’t seen action since late 2018 when he knocked out Japanese kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition bout. In the matchup prior, he stopped former UFC “Champ-Champ” Conor McGregor via 10th-round TKO.

Paul is 0-1 as a pro boxer. The loss came against fellow YouTuber KSI. Paul also had an exhibition bout with KSI, which went to a draw.
