Floyd Mayweather’s 22-Year-Old Daughter To Be Sentenced For 2020 Stabbing
Floyd Mayweather’s daughter will be sentenced today for a stabbing that happened two years ago.
Iyanna Mayweather pleaded guilty to stabbing a woman several times in the arm after a fight in April 2020, court document said. She will be sentences on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
She had agreed to a plea deal, which means she will avoid prison, but prosecutors have suggested six years of probation.
In April 2020, police responded to an outside disturbance outside of Houston around 7 p.m. The then 19-year-old Iyanna got into a fight with another woman and stabbed her several times. The altercation stemmed from a verbal argument, which escalated into a physical fight.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Iyanna was arrested, but later released on bail.
