Former NFL Player Anthony Wint Set To Make Second Octagon Appearance

Anthony Wint (8-0) returns for his second Octagon appearance at UFC 332 next month in Salt Lake City, facing fellow undefeated prospect Lucas Armand (6-0) in what will be Armand’s promotional debut. The UFC announced the matchup during Tuesday’s Contender Series broadcast.
Wint submitted Terrance Chatman with an arm-triangle choke in the first round of his UFC debut at UFC Sacramento, just 11 days after earning his contract with a 34-second knockout on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Before transitioning to mixed martial arts full-time, Wint played linebacker at Florida International for four seasons. He signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2018, spent time on the practice squad and was later promoted to the active roster, appearing in two NFL games that season.
Wint later turned his attention to MMA, building his undefeated record across regional promotions including Fury FC and Xtreme FC before earning his opportunity on the Contender Series.
Armand enters his UFC debut at 6-0 with five knockout victories and is the reigning 2 Piece Promotions heavyweight champion.
