Former UFC Champ Frank Mir Wishes to Have Farewell Fight on Daughter’s Bella Card

Former UFC heavyweight champ Frank Mir has finally decided to call off on his career, but not before making it a special occasion.

Mir, 43, with more than two decades in professional combat sports, has decided to hang his gloves up for good as he has achieved everything this sport has had to offer him.

But despite all the success, Mir still wants one of his wishes to be fulfilled and that is the heavyweight wants to bow out from the competition on the same card as his daughter, Bella Mir.

Mir last fought in an official combat match back in 2019 at Bellator 231 where he got a unanimous decision victory over big, Roy Nelson.

His daughter, Bella is already making rounds in the MMA world as she is off to flyer in her combat career, winning all of her three initial fights.

Bella,19, is arguably the biggest prospect in women’s MMA.

“Next year, I’m going to go ahead and fight again because I want to fight once on the same card as Bella as my last fight,” Mir told the “Thiccc Boy” podcast with Brendan Schaub. “She can headline the card. I can open it. How many times is that going to happen in history? Barring lightning striking or a car accident or something retarded, Bella is UFC champ, or champ of whatever league she wants to join. It’s a no-brainer.”

Bella made her debut as a pro at the age of 17, picking up two wins in two months.

But then decided to take a few months off in order to sharpen his wrestling skills. She returned after an 18-month hiatus and got her first submission victory.

Her next fight is yet to be scheduled.
