Four Decades of Fighting: Alistair Overeem
The Demolition Man Is Returning To Kickboxing On October 8th 2022.
Alistair Cees Overeem was born on May 17th 1980 in Hounslow, London, England. He grew up in Holland and honed his fighting skills there, until he moved to the United States to pursue his MMA career.
Nicknamed the “Demolition Man” Overeem has been fighting for four decades (90’s, 00’s, 10’s and 20’s), and he was the first fighter to hold world titles in MMA and K-1 kickboxing at the same time.
On Saturday October 8th, Overeem is going up against Badr Hari at Glory Kickboxing’s much anticipated event entitled Collision 4.
Rumors have been circulating the internet about the fight being in jeopardy, but Glory Kickboxing executives have stated publicly twice now, that the fight is going ahead, and that there is no truth to the rumors!
When fans are passionately awaiting a huge, mega-fight, things are bound to get heated and twisted, but we can all calm down and wait for the big, exclusive interview on FIGHT SPORTS, and the massive battle at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Holland next month.
The interview will be published before the event – we will announce the date soon.
