Frank Mir Responds To Oscar De La Hoya’s Commentary
Frank Mir has given his take on Oscar De La Hoya’s much-talked-about commentary during a recent Triller event.
Mir competed on a Triller card headlined by Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion took on former IBF Cruiserweight Champion Steve Cunningham. Mir had his moments but was defeated via unanimous decision.
During the fight, De La Hoya served as a commentator. Some fans have voiced their concern for De La Hoya as he appeared to be under the influence.
Mir took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on De La Hoya’s commentary.
Regarding the commentary during my fight last night.
I could be angry and I could laugh too but addiction is no joke, I know.
I sincerely hope that those around Oscar get him the help he needs. He was a great champion & ambassador for boxing. I’d like to think he can be again. pic.twitter.com/mXihmyOI0l— Frank Mir (@thefrankmir) April 18, 2021
