Full Card And Promo Released For UFC 250
With the UFC’s return to Las Vegas official thanks to the Nevada Athletic Commission, Dana White is looking to stack up the promotion’s big cards. UFC 250 will be taking place on June 6 from inside the APEX Center.
The full card, featuring several top bantamweight bouts, was officially set. The main event will be Amanda Nunes defending her UFC Featherweight Title against Felicia Spencer.
Nunes, also the UFC Bantamweight Champion, will be looking to become the first double-champion in the UFC to defend both belts while holding onto them. This will be Nunes’ (19-4) first main event spot since 2018 when she beat Raquel Pennington via TKO at UFC 224. Spencer (8-1), is coming off of a win against Zarah Fairn Dos Santos back in February. She is 2-1 with the UFC, losing to Cris Cyborg at UFC 240.
The co-main event will see Cody Garbrandt (11-3) take on Raphael Assuncao (27-7). This will be Garbrandt’s first fight since March 2019, as he was dealing with kidney issues that forced him out of a fight this past March. He is on a three-fight losing streak while Assuncao is on a two-fight losing streak. Below that will be an important bantamweight bout featuring Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen. The winner of this fight could end up getting a UFC Bantamweight Title shot.
The prelims will be main evented by Alex Caceres and Chase Hooper, while the early prelims will see Jussier Formiga take on Alex Perez.
