Full PFL 5 Fight Card Announced, Set For June 21st In Salt Lake City

This June, the Professional Fighters League will make their Salt Lake City debut, with a 13-bout card comprised of lightweight and light heavyweight matchups.

The event will take place inside the Huntsman Center, with Clay Collard facing Mads Burnell in the main event at 155-pounds. Additionally, it has been announced that Impa Kasanganay will square off with Jakob Nedoh in the evening’s light heavyweight co-feature.

Once again, this PFL card offers a nice balance between PFL mainstays and fighters that were brought in as part of the acquisition of Bellator MMA in 2023.

“We are excited for the toughest test in MMA, the PFL Global Season, to debut in Salt Lake City. The PFL’s sports season format lends itself to action for fans in attendance and those watching in 160 countries worldwide. 2024 PFL Playoff berths and the chance to continue their $1 million journey hang in the balance for these elite athletes.”

PFL CEO Peter Murray

Since the new year, the PFL has been running with the momentum following their purchase of Bellator, and producing quality events one after the other. With a huge addition to their roster, of some well known competitors, the matchmaking has been natural, and the results have been quite entertaining.
