Fury And Ngannou Make Their Grand Arrivals

Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou made their grand arrivals today ahead of their fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 28th, 2023.

The two will square off in a ten round non-title boxing match as Fury’s WBC belt is not at stake. Ngannou seeks to pull off a huge upset on his boxing debut and he’ll have the other Tyson, Mike Tyson, in his corner for support. Provided that Fury does as expected and comes out victorious, he will then face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title.

As for Ngannou, a loss would naturally lead his focus back to his MMA career, with his PFL debut expected to be in 2024. Both fighters, who are earning the biggest paydays of their careers for this crossover bout, kicked off fight week ahead of their heavyweight showdown this coming weekend. With that being said, here were the key highlights from the grand arrivals.

Highlights

“I’m ready to rock and roll,” Fury

On a rematch: “If Tyson wins, I would like him to give me a rematch. And if I win, I would give him a rematch,” Ngannou
