Fury Begs Warren For An Opponent As The ‘Gypsy King’ Remains Inactive

Tyson Fury has slammed the heavyweight division as he struggles to find an opponent.

The Gypsy King’s last fight was at the back end of last year when he beat Dereck Chisora. However, that fight failed to resonate with the public since talks over a bout with Anthony Joshua had broken down prior to this.

And on top of that, following Fury’s win over Chisora, the undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk also failed to occur. Since then, Fury has been linked with both Andy Ruiz Jr. and Zhilei Zhang.

The former had allegedly wanted $20 million to fight in order to recognize his status as a former unified heavyweight champion.

Meanwhile, Zhang has been ordered to face Joe Joyce after the latter exercised his rematch clause. With that being said, Fury has been left struggling to find an opponent.

“I’ve not fought since December through no fault of my own. I’ve tried to fight some little midget Usyk and he’s not wanted anything, I’ve tried to fight AJ, he don’t want no smoke.

“I’ve tried to fight everyone. Andy Ruiz Jr has asked for 20 million, silly little b!tch don’t know where he’s got that from. Who’s out there? Who’s available? Zhang, he was a good little fight but Joyce wants his rematch so that’s not happening now,” Fury

And in order to make that happen, Fury has demanded that his promoter Frank Warren make a stadium fight in the summer.

Failure to do so would mean that Fury could face Usyk in December without having a tune up, if the reports of a four-man heavyweight tournament in Saudi Arabia are anything to go by.

“Back in the gym today and here’s my challenge: I challenge Frank Warren to get me a fight in the North West of England anytime soon. July, August—whenever you’re ready, Frank, I’ll be ready.

“Let’s do it at a football stadium. Not a problem. Get me an opponent and I’m knocking him the f— out, Frank. There you go Frank Warren. Make it happen, Frank,” Fury
