Fury Claims Big News Coming
It seems after two years away from the ring, and over four months of hearings, training, and boats, Tyson Fury is ready to return to the ring.
Fury, who last appeared in the ring in a major victory over Wladimir Klitschko, was granted his license by the British Boxing Board of Control in January, pending medical clearance.
Fury, who called out both Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua, among others in the world of boxing during his comeback attempt, claimed that “big news” is coming on his Instagram page.
“Morning guys. Just a quick update. Just finished in the gym,” Fury said on Instagram.
“Feeling fantastic. Really starting to get the weight down now… Really going good. Any time now about to announce a massive, massive deal.
“So y’all better wait for this. Looking forward to getting back in there and getting under the lights, no shirt on, baby oiled up, and doing what I do best – entertaining.
“Looking forward to some great press conference this year and some great fight build-ups. Great fights ahead.”
In a post preceeding his tease of a big announcement, Fury gave an assessment of Deontay Wilder’s successful defense of his WBC heavyweight title against Luis Ortiz. The former champion believes with “no doubt” in his mind that he can beat Wilder.
And after the American knocked out Luis Ortiz, Fury was uncompromising in his prediction of what might happen if they were to meet in the ring.
