Fury Draws Dismal In Vegas

Tyson Fury as a star in boxing is inarguable,  but his value as a draw in the United States has become to be in question.

The British Boxer’s gutsy 12-round winner of Swedish challenger Otto Wallin proved to be an unsuccessful proposition earlier this month, as less than 18% of T-Mobile Arena was full for the ESPN+ showdown.

Per a report from World Boxing News, the Nevada State Athletic Commission reported that Top Rank sold only 3,475 tickets for an event that saw 3,898 complimentary tickets handed out for a total of 7,566 fans who witnessed the bloody brawl inside T-Mobile Arena.

Also confirmed vias NSAC executive director Bob Bennet was the gate for the event, which was  $999,722.50, which was less than Fury’s $1 Million guaranteed purse.
