Fury: I’d Beat Lesnar in WWE, MMA or Boxing

Would you want to see Tyson Fury vs. Brock Lesnar? In what setting — WWE, boxing, or MMA?

Tyson Fury is preparing for a major heavyweight title rematch with WBC champion Deontay Wilder on February 22, but he’s been pursuing other ventures outside the boxing ring in the meanwhile.

Fury appeared on WWE programming multiple times last month, leading to a match at its Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, where he defeated Braun Strowman by countout. He’s also recently had MMA training with British UFC fighter Darren Till.

Crown Jewel also featured former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar defeating the man who beat him for the UFC title in 2010, Cain Velasquez, by a quick submission.

Fury feels it doesn’t matter if it’s in professional wrestling, boxing or MMA — he feels he can easily handle Lesnar.

“I fancy a fight with Brock, for sure,” Fury said to the True Geordie podcast. “I watched a few of his fights. (He’s) pretty handy, but I can flatten him. In a WWE match or in a proper fight, I can flatten Brock Lesnar in 30 seconds.”
