WBC and The Ring Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury recently had a training session with UFC welterweight Nick Diaz.
Fury has long teased making the move to MMA. He’s even exchanged words with UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou. Fury has also said he’s been offered to train MMA with Conor McGregor, a former UFC “Champ-Champ” and fellow Irishman.
Diaz is known to be a big fan of the sweet science. In fact, he and his brother Nate are often described as two of the top boxers in MMA. Diaz has even trained with boxing Hall of Fame elect Andre Ward.

Fury is likely to step inside the ring with Anthony Joshua next to determine the undisputed heavyweight champion of boxing. August 14 is the date that has been floated around.
As for Diaz, whether or not he makes his return to the Octagon is up in the air. UFC President Dana White has admitted he’s unsure if Diaz has that desire to fight anymore.
