Tyson Fury (35-2-1, 24 KOs) says he has signed his side of the deal to face Anthony Joshua (29-4-0, 26 KOs), leaving the ball in the latter’s court.
The comments follow Fury’s unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov last weekend, his first fight since retiring in January 2025. In his post-fight comments, Fury called out Joshua who was ringside. The pair exchanged verbals, but Joshua refused to enter the ring. AJ stood his ground, stating he is the A-side and said he would face Fury provided it was a serious call-out. Tyson has now said he has signed for the fight, but he remained hesitant.
“I’m ready. I was always ready. I’ve signed. Done. Another stumbling block again. It’s been 10 years in the making. What’s the hold up? He’s just come off a win, knocked a man spark out, broke a man’s jaw. I’ve just come off a win. Let’s get it on. He’s 36/37, I’m the same age. Let’s fight,” Fury said
