Fury Tells Wilder To Not Say Mike Tyson’s Name In Vein
After making a comment that he was more fearsome than Mike Tyson, Anthony Joshua caught some flack from Tyson Fury.
Wilder, who once claimed he could knockout Tyson at his peak, would be dressed down by former undisputed champion Lennox Lewis following those comments.
“I just heard Deontay Wilder said he would destroy a young Mike Tyson. My thoughts are that it’s easy to talk until you actually get in the ring,” said Lewis.
“I like Wilder but he’s never been in there with someone that ferocious who truly wants to break his ribs with every punch. I don’t see it!
“This is a message to Deontay Wilder,” The Gypsy King would say on Instagram this week.
“I’ve just seen another ridiculous statement from you, Wilder. That you’ve got more of a fear factor than Mike Tyson. You’re a dreamer you are, honestly. I’ve never seen a man dream so much in my life. I don’t know why you’re taking the great Mike Tyson’s name in vein… You keep mentioning his name even though he isn’t in your era. However, there is a Tyson in your era. And I’ll stop you in five rounds, you bum. You lanky skinny legged dosser. You’re a chinless bum… If you want a fight, come to the mack daddy, come see the gypsy king…”
