Fury vs. Joshua Officially Announced

The Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua drama has finally come to an end as their fight has been officially announced. The two former heavyweight champions will face each other on December 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, following months of negotiations and a contractual disputes over where the bout would  take place.

The 26-year-old Joshua (30-4, 27KO) enters the fight following a turbulent tune-up against Kristian Prenga on July 25 where he was knocked down twice in the opening round before recovering to stop Prenga in the second.

The 38-year-old Fury (36-2-1, 25KO) returned this year after suffering consecutive decision defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024. He has since taken two tune-up fights, beating Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision on April 11 before stopping veteran Mariusz Wach after seven rounds on July 24.

Fury and Joshua are scheduled to appear at a press event in London on September 30.
