Fury Vs. Joshua Reportedly Signed

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have reportedly privately “signed” and “agreed” a deal to face each other.

The long overdue all-British showdown that Eddie Hearn said was being planned for August was derailed by the fatal car that claimed the lives of two of Joshua’s closest friends in December. While Joshua only suffered minor injuries, the tragedy has taken a major toll on his mental state.

Meanwhile, Fury will make his return to the ring to face Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11, which will be his first fight since retiring last January after consecutive defeats to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in 2025.

Fury vs Joshua is reportedly being targeted for late this year or in early 2027 and could land on Netflix, however the timing is said to depend on Joshua’s recovery, and his return to full training as he has only just begun getting back to some light training sessions.

“The Fury-Joshua fight is signed. Okay, it is signed in the background. I’ve got that on good authority. It’s with the big money people. It’ll be on Netflix. They are moving towards it, but they both want the fight,” Gareth A. Davies (reporter)
