Fury Vs. Ngannou Weigh-In Results
Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou had their weigh-in today for their fight this weekend in Saudi Arabia.
The narrative heading into the weigh-in was which of the two would come in heavier. Fury, who is the natural boxer, has shown the ability to come in heavier or lighter depending on whether his strategy is to box or to move. As for Ngannou, the MMA fighter’s best chance of victory has been seen as stopping Fury early in the fight, given that if the bout goes into the later rounds, the former UFC Champ could slow down given he’s never been in a ten round boxing match.

With that being said, Fury weighed 277.7 pounds, which was 10 more pounds than his last fight against Dereck Chisora. Meanwhile, Ngannou came in at 272.1 pounds. Provided that Fury comes out victorious, the undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk appears to be next. In contrast, a win for Ngannou would be one of the biggest upsets of all time.
