This tweet makes it official as TJ Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt will join the November UFC card when the combat sports brand returns to Madison Square Garden.

Originally, UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt was to defend his title against former champion TJ Dillashaw at UFC 213. Garbrandt was forced out of the bantamweight title fight with a severe back injury, and the fight was postponed.

Though there was some brief discussion surrounding Dillashaw possibly dropping to flyweight for a fight with divisional champ Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, but with this announcement by Garbrandt. it seems that the Garden gets this contentious faceoff come November.
