Garcia vs. Granados Live Results

Two men will jock for contendership in the highly-talented welterweight division, as former WBC champion Danny Garcia and Adrian Granados square off.

The fight headlines a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) card at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Garcia dominated the super lightweight division between 2012 and 2014, defeating Erik Morales for the WBC title before stopping Amir Khan to claim the WBA crown. Garcia made defenses of his belts against Morales, Zab Judah, Lucas Matthysse and Mauricio Herrera before jumping up to 147. Garcia won the WBC welterweight title in January 2016 with a win over Robert Guerrero, but he lost the title to Keith Thurman via a close, split decision in a March 2017 WBA/WBC title unification bout.

Garcia returned with a knockout of Brandon Rios in February 2018 but fell short in a classic fight with Shawn Porter that September with the then-vacant WBC title on the line.

After losses to Adrien Broner and Porter in 2017, Granados fought Javier Fortuna to a No Contest in June 2018. Since then, Granados has scored finishes of Luis Fernando Valdez and Adalberto Borquez.
