Gegard Mousasi Officially Set To Defend Bellator Title Vs Johnny Eblen

One of the most experienced martial artists, Gegard Mousasi (49-7-2), just defended his belt against undefeated fighter Austin Vanderford (11-1-0) at Bellator 275 on February 25.

But he seems to be ready to defend his belt for the third time in a row against another undefeated fighter, Johnny Eblen (11-0-0, 7-0-0 in Bellator). This bout was officially announced by the promotion Tuesday.

Mousasi is a widely famous fighter.

He held more than 55 battles inside the octagon. It will be his third title defense after winning the Bellator title again against Douglas Lima at Bellator 250.

He has earned 28 knockouts and 12 submission victories in his career, which is 40 finishes in total.

Eblen is an American Top Team product with seven victories in Bellator.

His last fight against John Salter was the biggest test for him, and he passed successfully. Even though he shared the octagon with great fighters and had excellent sparring partners, like Dustin Poirier, Jorge Masvidal, Yoel Romero, Douglas Lima, and many others, fighting against legendary fighter Mousasi could be different.

Defeating Mousasi could raise his stocks.
