Gegard Mousasi Vs Johnny Eblen In Works For June Bellator Card

Gegard Mousasi will fight against another undefeated fighter to defend his title.

Mousasi is targeted to face undefeated American Top Team trainee Johnny Eblen (11-0), Fight Book MMA reported. But an event, date and location has yet to be announced.

Mousasi is one of the most dominant champions in Bellator. He last defended his belt against undefeated fighter Austin Vanderford at Bellator 275 where he served the American a first-round knockout loss.

For this moment, Mousasi is on a four-fight winning streak. He held 58 battles and earned 49 victories (28 KO, 12 submissions). He plans to fight in the light heavyweight and even in the heavyweight division in the future, but for this moment, he plans for a quick turnaround and defending his belt once again.

Eblen has held seven battles in Bellator and earned all dominant victories. Two weeks ago, he already faced John Salter and earned a unanimous decision victory.

According to Fight Book MMA, nothing is official yet, but the promotion aims to schedule this fight in June.
