Georgian Fighter Lands Switch Kick Knockout

MMA has developed a lot during the last two to three years after Georgian fighters showed themselves in the UFC.

One of Georgian fighters on the rise is Otari Tanzilov. The 23-year-old participated in the co-main event of GFC (Georgian Fighting Championship) 15.

He shared the octagon with Brazilian fighter Rafael Ribeiro Soares and served him a flying switch kick KO in the first round, after knocking him down several times with different combinations.

His professional MMA record includes six victories and no defeats. Five out of his six victories are via knockout. He is WFCF (same promotion as GFC)’s bantamweight champion.

His teammates are fighters like Levan Makashvili, the first-ever Georgian UFC fighter.
