Gervonta Davis Files Countersuit
Gervonta Davis (30-0-1) filed a $20 million countersuit against his former partner, alleging that her “fabricated” accusations of domestic violence were part of a plot that cost him the biggest payday of his career.
Davis, 31, is fighting back against a civil lawsuit filed in late 2025, which accused him of battery and kidnapping during a confrontation at a strip club, allegations he denied. Tank claims that before the lawsuit was filed, the woman demanded $1.1 million to make the allegations disappear. When he refused to pay, he alleges she moved forward with the legal filing.
Davis asserts that the two actually spent the night together following the alleged “violent” incident. The core of the $20 million countersuit rests on “interference with business relationships.” Davis argues that the timing of the lawsuit prevented his scheduled November 2025 exhibition against Jake Paul, as Tank was replaced by Anthony Joshua. The accuser has filed to dismiss the claim.
