Gervonta Davis: Mayweather Is ‘Stuck’ In Dubai

Gervonta Davis has increased suggestions that Floyd Mayweather is ‘stuck’ in Dubai.

During a recent Instagram live with Fighthype, Mayweather revealed he had been travelling the world for several months. He disclosed that he was currently in Dubai, with no timeline on when he would be back in the United States. Davis reacted to the news, hitting back at Mayweather as their relationship has been rocky.

The last time they were seen together publicly was when Davis stopped Ryan Garcia in his biggest career win last year. While all seemed well, things have deteriorated since then. Davis responded to a fan’s comments about Mayweather’s situation.

Davis: “He says all this, but he can’t leave Dubai because he’s been taking money and not doing what they paid him to do. He’s a hater!”

Fan: “Let me find out if Floyd is being held hostage in Dubai,”

Davis: “He has to pay them people that money back. If I’m lying, tell him to go live right now. He’s been stuck over there for a minute, too”

Mayweather has yet to respond. However, he was very vocal with Bill Haney. The two had a heated confrontation on Instagram Live following Devin Haney’s loss to Ryan Garcia. Bill questioned whether Mayweather had his son Devin’s best interests at heart. The Dream has previously trained at the Mayweather Gym.

There were suggestions Mayweather gave Garcia a sparring tape showing Tank Davis dominating Haney, which Ryan leaked. Mayweather denied those claims, saying there was no bad blood with Bill, as he urged him to speak over the phone. While that issue has not been resolved, Mayweather may have bigger things to deal with in Dubai.
