  1. Main Undercard 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT (PPV) Live Results & Highlights

Co-Main Event: Erislandy Lara vs. Gary O’Sullivan – WBA Middleweight Title

Despite a courageous effort by O’Sullivan, the 39-year-old Lara felt no real threat of losing his WBA title in this match. By the fourth round of the fight, Lara was picking his opponent apart and scored a massive knockdown from a piston like straight left. In the following rounds, Lara looked relaxed as he landed smooth combinations and continued to hurt O’Sullivan.

O’Sullivan was able to land a few returning punches as Lara began to open up, but the effort was utterly futile. At the end of round-7 O’Sullivan was once again hurt from another hard left hand but was saved by the bell. To start the eighth round, Lara landed one more big straight left that buckled O’Sullivan’s legs. At this point, the referee stepped in and stopped the fight.

The official stoppage came at 0:23 of the eighth round.

Lara was able to retain his 160-pound WBA title and improve his record to 29-3 (17 KO). Meanwhile, O’Sullivan recorded his 5th loss in 36 fights.

Jesus Ramos vs. Luke Santamaria – Super Welterweight

In this 154-pound feature, Santamaria showed a tremendous amount of toughness during the ten-round affair. However, through skilled footwork to strategically control the action, pressure his opponent with angles, and wait for the moment to unleash his beautiful punching technique, the 21-year-old Ramos walked away with the unanimous decision victory (98-92, 97-93, 97-93). Ramos added a 19th win to his undefeated record, while Santamaria’s record fell to 13-3-1.

Eduardo Ramirez vs. Luis Melendez – Super Featherweight

In this battle of Mexico vs. Puerto Rico, both competitors had their shining moments over the course of ten rounds. While each were able to deliver strong barrages, and display excellent technique, Eduardo Ramirez was ultimately declared the winner via majority decision (95-95, 96-94, 98-92). Through this contest, Ramirez improved his record to 27-2, while Luis Melendez accepted only his second loss in a total of 19 contests.
