Gina Carano, Donald Cerrone Co-Star In New Western Film

Gina Carano has landed another movie role and this time she’s in the company of Donald Cerrone.

Carano, who was axed from hit Disney+ show “The Mandalorian” after controversial Instagram stories, has booked her second movie role called “Terror on the Prairie,” which is already in production and is expected to be released in early 2022.

Her first role was for a film tentatively titled “White Knuckle,” based on a book from Eric Red. The movie is still happening, but filming has been delayed to 2022.

“Terror on the Prairie is about a family that fights back against a gang of outlaws who are terrorizing them on their newly built farm in Montana. Carano has been cast as the star.

And joining her on the list of co-stars is Cerrone, a UFC veteran. He has also gotten a taste of acting, specifically from Netflix hit “Spencer Confidential,” appearing alongside Mark Wahlberg.

This project is the latest for The Daily Wire who has dabbled in the entertainment industry. Carano inked a deal after being cut from her Cara Dune role on “The Mandalorian,” a popular “Star Wars” spinoff series that went viral off memes of their Baby Yoda character.

The former featherweight competed in EliteXC and Strikeforce from 2006 to 2009 and racked a 7-1 record. In her last fight, she lost via TKO to Christiane Justino; her only loss.

Cerrone currently fights in the welterweight division. He hasn’t been in the octagon since a May loss to Alex Morono. His record sits at 36-16. He held a UFC record for most finishes (15) in 2018.
