GLORY 74: Pereira KOs Bayrak As Round 1 Ends

Before Rico Verhoeven and Badr Hari made their way to the ring to headline GLORY: Collision 2, one GLORY champion — GLORY’s only champ-champ — successfully retained one of his belts earlier in the day.

Alex Pereira defeated Ertugrul Bayrak to retain the GLORY middleweight championship in the main event of GLORY 74, which took place inside the GelreDome in Arhnem, Netherlands prior to GLORY: Collision 2.

After a round controlled by Pereira, he ended things by nailing Bayrak with a left hand as the bell to end the round sounded, dropping the challenger out cold.
