GLORY Dynamite 1 LIVE September 19th
Bellator 142: Dynamite 1 is all set for Saturday, September 19th at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
With 20 total fights spread across a cage and a ring on one venue floor, the event is the first of its kind.
The preliminary card features 12 total fights, most featuring local up-and-coming Northern California fighters.The main card airs live on Spike following prelims that will stream on MMAjunkie.
In the main event, ex-UFC champ and Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz (18-11-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) meets champion Liam McGeary (10-0 MMA, 7-0 BMMA) for the light heavyweight title
.
The main card also features Zack Mwekassa and Saulo Cavalari who will fight for the vacant Glory Kickboxing Lightweight Title.
The card also features a single-night, four-man light heavyweight tournament with the victor expected to be next in line for the title. Muhammed Lawal (15-4-1 MMA, 7-3 BMMA) meets Linton Vassell (15-4 MMA, 4-1 BMMA), and Phil Davis (13-3 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) makes his Bellator debut against Emanuel Newton (25-8-1 MMA, 8-2 BMMA). A matchup between Francis Carmont (23-10 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) and Philipe Lins (9-1 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) takes place on the prelims as a tournament alternate bout.
