GLORY matchmaker Cor Hemmers talks about kickboxing coming home
Tomorrow, kickboxing comes home.
GLORY 26 marks the first-ever GLORY card in Holland, one of the meccas of kickboxing, and the card features two title fights, with three Dutch fighters in the two main events.
Cor Hemmers, GLORY Matchmaker and Head of Talent Operations, is a legend in the kickboxing world. A producer of multiple champions, he is one of the old guard responsible for first shaping Dutch Kickboxing as a martial art style and then overseeing its elevation to the world stage as one of the foremost effective fighting systems.
Here he talks about GLORY 26 AMSTERDAM and how the event marks a homecoming for the sport, as Amsterdam has not hosted a major event in over five years. The veteran coach places the event in context with some historical points and some observations about the current landscape.
