GLORY Signs Anissa Meksen

GLORY kickboxing has announced today that it has signed Anissa Meksen to a multi-fight deal for the women’s super-bantamweight division.

Over her 15-year career thus far, Meksen has won 11 world kickboxing titles, 11 French national titles and five European titles. Boxe, a French combat sport magazine, named her as its Fighter of the Year back in 2014. She is also noted for her high finish rate, finishing off 31 opponents in 97 bouts.

Meksen holds victories over current GLORY fighter  Isis Verbeek, as well as the likes of Iman Barlow and previously-undefeated Funda Diken.

"I am very excited to join GLORY and make some big fights," Meksen said. "For me, GLORY is like the World Cup, the Superbowl of kickboxing. I train so hard for every fight, like as if it is going to be my last fight ever, and that’s why I am going to win the title."

Meksen is expected to make her GLORY debut some time in the near future.
