Gun Discharged During Broner Fight

One of the major fears heading into April 21st was the possibility of gang violence, due to a feud between Adrien Broner and rapper Tekashi69.

According to a report from TMZ, a member of Tekashi69’s crew fired a gun at Barclays Center, but was due to another beef that nothing to do with Broner.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that an unidentified member of Tekashi’s entourage allegedly fired a shot during an altercation with Brooklyn-based MC Casanova, who Tekashi has also been feuding with online.

Per TMZ: Tekashi and his guys were in a hallway heading to a VIP area, when they bumped into Casanova and his crew. The two crews got into an altercation, leading to someone in Tekashi’s group allegedly discharging a round from a firearm.

A .32 caliber shell casing was recovered afterward, but was not processed after being touched by arena staff. No one was hit by the shot, with Casanova’s crew fleeing the Brooklyn arena entirely.

Tekashi, who claims affiliation with the Bloods street gang, and his entourage were interviewed by investigators. None of the remaining crew members were found to have weapons, and it seems the person who fired the shot fled the scene.
