Devin Haney has hit back at Shakur Stevenson’s latest gesture as talks over a fight between the pair refuse to die down.
Following Haney’s victory over Vasiliy Lomachenko, the American exited the ring, despite Stevenson waiting with the media, telling his opponent that he is ‘number 1.’
Thereafter, the talk turned to whether Haney would fight Stevenson at 135 lbs or move up to 140. And now the feud has taken another step.
The two fighters just so happened to encounter each other at a party in Houston. That is when Stevenson put Haney on notice by sending him a gift with the message, ‘Sign The Contract.’
Those comments did not sit well with Haney, who fired back with some fiery words by telling Stevenson to back up his words and approach his promoter.
Clown shit.. Bob.. JPrince & I don’t know wtf he talking bout.. just clout chasing. If it was a contract then we would go into purse bid because he’s my mandatory. When he really wanna fight tell his promoter. Until then.. get off my dick https://t.co/JTF5fGVYlh

“Clown sh!t. Bob [Arum]… JPrince (Stevenson’s manager) & I don’t know wtf he talking bout.. just clout chasing. If it was a contract then we would go into purse bid because he’s my mandatory.
“When he really wanna fight tell his promoter. Until then, get off my d**k,” Haney
In response, Stevenson had a few choice words of his own. He highlighted Bob Arum’s claims that Haney had been offered three names, one of which was himself.
