Haney Says Tank Is ‘Scared To Death’ In A Heated Exchange On Social Media

Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney fired verbal shots at each other on social media as ‘The Dream’ accused Tank of being scared.

The exchange started after reports Haney rehydrated to 165 pounds for his fight against Regis Prograis. The Dream weighed 140 pounds for his junior welterweight clash, but he put on 25 pounds on fight night as he came in near super middleweight. He dominated Prograis, knocking him down in round three, as he won every round to secure the WBC belt. The win made Haney a two-weight world champion as the talk turned towards a Davis fight.

Haney claimed Davis did not want the fight in his post-fight comments. Davis responded to the win by claiming Haney cheated by going up to 165 pounds. He called out Haney’s relationship with Victor Conte, the founder of the sports nutrition company SNAC. Conte served time in prison after pleading guilty to the charge of ‘conspiracy to distribute steroids and money laundering.’ Conte has since then been an outspoken advocate for drug testing, but Davis was not convinced as all three traded words.
