Hardy Makes $150K For Second UFC Fight

After beating someone who has spent less time than him in the Octagon across two years than he’s had in four months, Greg Hardy earned a six-figure salary at UFC Fort Lauderdale.

The Ex-NFL All-Pro, who would be forced out of the league due to an overturned domestic violence conviction and drug abuse issues, would score $150,000 for his first round drubbing of “international folding chair” Dmitrii Smoliakov in the night’s co-main event.

Hardy earned $75,000 in base salary, plus an extra $75k for defeating the fighter who has fought twice since 2017, one for the Russian promotion “Aslan Challenge” in January.

For his troubles Smoliakov would earn $10,000, tied with Thomas Gifford and Jodie Esquibel for the lowest paid fighters of the night.

While it would not be the highest salary paid on Saturday night (Andrei Arlovski would score $300,000 in a prelim loss to Augusto Sakai), it is a staggeringly high pay check for Hardy, who has only two UFC fights and five total pro fights under his belt after making his pro debut 10 months ago.

A complete list of the UFC Fort Lauderdale salaries can be seen below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as certain sponsorship incomes and discretionary bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
