Win or Lose, Kayla Harrison is in it for the long haul with the Professional Fighters League, signing a multi-year extension with them this week.
The extension first reported by ESPN on Thursday, came one day before Harrison returned to the PFL cage at PFL 7 on Friday night against Genah Fabian in the semifinals of the lightweight playoffs, culminating on New Year’s Eve for the title and a $1 million prize.
“I’m really happy with the PFL,” Harrison said to MMA Fighting prior to Thursday’s signing.
“They’ve treated me well. They’ve put us on an even playing field when it comes to our pay scale and just the overall treatment that I’ve received is awesome. I think the format has been super exciting for me.”
