‘He Ready Let’s Go’: Nate Diaz Calls Out Vicente Luque, Says Still Waiting On Contract

After earning a fantastic victory against Michael Chiesa, Vicente Luque expressed the desire of sharing the octagon with one of the most watchable fighters, Nate Diaz.

He said he is not the best talker, but he is one of the best strikers and Brazilian jiu-jitsu artists in the promotion.

Diaz accepted the challenge via social media in September, agreed with Brazilian in the social media, but a little over a month he accepted, he said he was still waiting on a contract from Luque.

“I ain’t got a contract. It must be something wrong wit luque,” he wrote on Twitter.

As soon as Diaz posted this, Luque’s manager Ali Abdelaziz responded.

“He ready let’s go @VicenteLuqueMMA”

Luque didn’t stay silent either.

“You know I’m in from day one! I’ve never backed up from a fight and I’m not gonna start now!! We can do it when and where you want I’m ready.”

“I’ll raise my offer we can go as many rounds as you want and let’s make it an all stand up war no takedowns allowed! #FOTY”

Diaz is on a two-fight losing streak while Luque is on a four-fight winning streak. Diaz is considered a “must watch” fighter. He is tied with Joe Lauzon for the second most UFC bonus awards (15).

Luque, on the other hand, is currently the No. 4 ranked welterweight in the UFC.
