Hearn Wants A Giant Stable In U.S.

There seems to be a turf war building in the world of boxing, as Eddie Hearn is starting to build his stable of American based boxers.

Following a massive influx of cash following a deal with the Perform Group, Hearn has been contacting fighters such as the Charlo Brothers and Adrien Broner, for potential multi-fight deals.

And now more fighters, such as Deontay Wilder, Keith Thurman, and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, have been approached or confirmed conversations with Hearn about a potential deal.

“It’s a dream come true,” said Hearn to The Daily Telegraph earlier this month.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to build an unrivaled stable in world boxing. When we came to the US, we really needed a platform that would give us the volume of dates we needed to grow, and we needed a huge war chest to go out and get the very best fighters in the US.”

“All the promoters in the US want us to fail. Everyone will say it’s a new platform and it might not work. And I could see the argument, but not with the amount of money I have to spend.”
