Hearn Willing To Give Wilder 50-50 Split With AJ
Eddie Hearn is willing to give a 50-50 split to Deontay Wilder for a heavyweight unification showdown with Anthony Joshua, but there comes a caveat .
Wilder not only must be successful against Tyson Fury on December 1st in Los Angeles, but the Alabama born boxer must prove his worth as a Pay-Per-View draw.
“I saw Wilder came out and say he wants 60-40 if he beats Fury,” Hearn claimed in a story written by the Daily Star. “At the moment I think a split of 65-35 in AJ’s favor is fair,” claimed Joshua’s promoter who looks to ink terms for an April showdown at Wembley Stadium before Wilder fights Fury on December 1st.
“Nobody knows who Deontay Wilder is. But if his fight with Tyson Fury does a million buys plus then he can have 50-50.
“But if he does under 300,000 buys he should have taken 80-20.”
