Henry Cejudo Predicts Nate Diaz To WWE
Will Nate Diaz make an appearance in the WWE?
That’s a question that former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo has thought about and recently spoke to Helen Yee about Diaz’s choices as he starts to delve into the world of free agency.
“Let him be him,” Cejudo said.
“He’s got options. He can get the winner of Jake Paul and (Silva)… Do a one-off with WWE, a WrestleMania or something along those lines. I mean, he’s a popular guy now. He can dabble into everything.”
Diaz completed his contract fight at UFC 279 earlier this month by defeating Tony Ferguson by submission in the fourth round, ending his 15-year, 27-fight stint.
Diaz now has the chance to experiment with different sports and pastimes after stating his desire to pursue endeavors outside MMA’s top promotion.
While transitioning to boxing seems inevitable, recent rumors have focused on a potential move into professional wrestling.

A photo of Diaz standing with Triple H — the head of WWE’s creative department — and chairwoman Stephanie McMahon was posted on the UFC on BT Sport Twitter account.
Many fans had good things to say about Diaz joining the team; one stated that it would make “more sense” than a transition from boxing.
Another user suggested a conflict between the Stockton native and Brock Lesnar should make the former MMA fighter transition to professional wrestling. Another fan said a Diaz appearance in WWE would be “amazing.”
The fan-favorite Stockton native doesn’t lack alternatives regarding the next phase of his career, as several individuals, including BKFC CEO David Feldman, have already expressed interest in bringing Diaz to their respective clubs.
The fact that WrestleMania will take place in California the following year also makes it possible for Diaz to make an appearance, whether in a match or as a surprise guest as Ronda Rousey did at WrestleMania 31.
